Week 3 - Space

Teaching children about outer space helps their sense of curiosity and wonder, introducing conversations about things like the planets and solar system will engage and nurture their inquisitive minds.

Week 2 - Our bodies
Mon 15 Jan 2024This weeks topic is learning about our bodies.
The children will be looking into different parts of their bodies, what they are called and what their function is. We will also be listening too and introducing Pantosaurus! This is a fantastic catchy song that encourages children to speak about any worries they have regarding their private parts in a fun and age appropriate way. Please feel free to listen to the track, if you have any questions don't hesitate to speak to any member of staff.

Week 1 - The Rainforest
Mon 08 Jan 2024This week our topics are; The Rainforest (Caterpillar) and Hey Duggee (Teddy)
In caterpillars, the children will be looking into different animals, plants and climates. Some things they may have never come across before!
In teddy class, we focus on Hey Duggee which teaches the children valuable life skills, teamwork, problem solving and creativity.

Week 4 & 5 - Julia Donaldson
Mon 20 Nov 2023This week and next revolves around the brilliant author Julia Donaldson! We will be exploring a wide range of her books. The children love the rhyming element of these stories and the fun loveable characters! We have many different activities planned and lots of reading will be shared.

Week 3 - Nursery Rhymes
Mon 13 Nov 2023This week is all about Nursery Rhymes! 🥚🐑🐥👨🌾 This gives the children the opportunity to learn about rhyming words and helps to give them a range of songs to sing!

Week 2 - Feelings
Mon 06 Nov 2023This week is all about feelings. The children did a great job at expressing themselves and it was a pleasure to hear all about the different things that make them happy/sad/angry/nervous ❤️😁😓😡😲🤪

Week 1 - Celebrations & Traditions
Wed 01 Nov 2023This week is all about Celebrations and Traditions. We will be discussing different events such as Halloween, bonfire night and diwali! 🕯

Starting School in September 2024
Wed 01 Nov 2023If your child is 4 or will turn 4 before 1st September 2023, they can start school in September 2024.
